During his time as the head of Australia Post, Mr Fahour defended his pay-packet, saying running the organisation was a ‘little bit more complex than running a fish and chip shop’.

Mr Fahour resigned as CEO of Australia Post in 2017 after a seven year tenure with the company.

He insisted the intense public scrutiny over his generous pay package was not the reason behind his resignation.

After his stint with Australia Post Mr Fahour setup a Yoga business with his ex-wife Dionnie – with whom he shares four children.
